My name is Teacher Jessa.
I earned my degree - Bachelor of Secondary Education, Major in English - in 2012 and have been teaching English to high school students since then. In 2017, I also completed my academic units for a Master of Education, Major in English.
I’m passionate about continually improving my teaching methods to make learning more efficient and engaging. It’s a privilege to help students build their confidence and skills in the English language, and I’m proud to be part of their learning journey.
I enjoy reading Psychology books as they help me understand myself and others more. One of my favorites is James Allen’s classic book, “As a Man Thinketh” where he magnified the connection of a healthy mind to all other aspects of life.
In my free time, I enjoy taking brief strolls along the beach or relaxing in a cozy cafe, where the peaceful scenery often inspires me to write English poems and memoirs.
If there’s one thing we share, it’s that English is not our first language. That shared connection helps me understand you better and allows us to move at the right pace as we work together to improve your language skills.
